The Western Group affiliate, Western Railroad Builders, is involved in a successful railroad track construction and maintenance operation. For the past four decades, Western Railroad Builders has provided new rail construction for private industry and railroads; and maintenance work with private and government concerns.

Western Railroad Builders has specialized track equipment and well-trained maintenance and construction crews capable of completing jobs ranging from $100,000 to $2.5 million in contract size. At present, our company employs approximately 12 full-time employees along with seasonal part-time employees.

Because of the highly competitive nature of this business, our approach is to develop this segment of our business strategically.
